Bata's Women's Month Campaign 2022
For Women’s Month 2022, Bata South Africa wanted to connect with all its customers through 4 of its sub-brands, bringing to life the Suits and Sneakers fashion trend within an integrated 360 degree campaign idea.
New Noise pitched and executed the highly successful #SuitYourSneakers campaign, which positioned wearing a suit as a triumphant symbol for freedom of choice for women. We collaborated with 4 distinct personalities for North Star, Tomy Takkies, Power Footwear and American Cup – individuals who we felt represented each brand in a confident, comfortable and fashionable way.
The campaign also sought to recognise and thank the real, relatable and successful women who work behind the scenes at Bata South Africa, making sure that others can look and feel their best every day. The Bata team were fitted with brand new suits and a pair of sneakers, and invited to take part in a group photoshoot and interviews, and to top it off, New Noise also produced a surprise high tea event to round off their day.
Rhea Blek (@rheablek) is a talented singer/songwriter and content creator. We felt that Rhea’s hunger to build her musical career on the local and international scene was inspiring for the North Star market. We styled Rhea in a pair of Classic retro-inspired North Star sneakers, an electric plum miniskirt set and 90’s-inspired accessories.
Mahlogonolo Manchester Mahapa (@chesty_m) is a multidisciplinary creative producer and writer who hails from Polokwane. Manchester is proudly owning her path in life, and her approach to style is no different. We styled Manchester in a pair of classic white American Cup sneakers with a bold printed suit made by local designer Haute Afrika from The Space.
Keziah Searle (@_livefitlivehealthy) is a fitness blogger, designer and toddler mother, based in KZN. Keziah owns her roles as a mother and entrepreneur, and her healthy, active lifestyle and relatable content about the experience of motherhood is inspiring. We styled Keziah in Power athleisure sneakers with a fresh and minimal pastel suit, classic white vest and shorts.
Tokelo Motsepe (@tokelomotsepe) is a digital strategist and content marketing specialist based in Johannesburg. She is generous and caring in sharing her knowledge and tips about strategic digital marketing through her social channels. She owned her bold and graphic #SuitYourSneakers fit like she is owning her path in life.
